Keep informed about picoChip

UK Business Secretary Dr Vince Cable this morning welcomed the announcement of a multi-million pound deal between picoChip and Rancore Technologies, revealed today in New Delhi.
Speaking alongside Indian Minister Kamal Nath, Dr. Cable said: “I warmly welcome today’s announcements. We have superb UK companies operating here in partnership with Indian firms, and I would encourage more UK firms to explore the opportunities here.”
The announcement follows picoChip's agreement with Entuple Technologies, revealed yesterday, to bring the world’s most advanced 3G and 4G femtocell technologies to Indian industry and academia.
Speaking in Bangalore on Wednesday at the launch of Enabling Innovation India, part of this week’s UK government bridge-building trip to India, Nigel Toon, picoChip CEO, said: “The pool of talent and expertise in wireless technology development within India is astonishing. The expertise, talent and collaborative spirit of the Entuple team is a formidable asset in driving picoChip’s ambitions and plans for the Indian market.”
picoChip is one of the only private companies invited to join the UK government delegation to India this week. The Summit brings together business leaders and representatives of both governments to foster closer ties between the two countries.
